REPRODUCTION DEVICE, REPRODUCTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an earlier start of reproduction of multi-media data and also the smooth reproduction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the reproduction device 200, a storage section 201 stores the multi-media data 300 such as audio or video. The multi-media data 300 consist of a first section to be formerly reproduced and a second section to be reproduced after the first section. A receiving section 202 receives a first instructive input to the effect precedently to start the reproduction of the first section and a second instructive input to the effect to reproduce the second section after the first section. A reproduction section 203 starts the reproduction of the first section when receives the first instructive input. The reproduction section 203 repeatedly reproduces the first section until the second instructive input is received after the time the first instructive input is received. Also, the reproduction section 203 starts the reproduction of the second section when the reproduction of the first section is finished after the second instructive input is received.
