The shell bearing (1) has two opposite metal parts (2, 3) with a slip lining (4) between them having a slip layer (6) consisting of a resin matrix and a slip additive. The slip additive consists of a polyfluorcarbon hydride, possibly polytetrafluorethylene, and an organic residue, which may be polyamide. The additive may also include fiber material.
