PURPOSE: A navigation terminal, and a sightseeing information guide method using the same provide the sightseeing place information to a user although the user does not input the information to the navigation terminal during driving. CONSTITUTION: A navigation terminal(100) comprises a Global Positioning System module(30), a memory(20), and a controller(10). The GPS module receives GPS information from a satellite. The memory stores all kinds of information necessary for a course searching, and voice information. The voice information comprises a stepped data about a sightseeing place. The controller guides the course to a destination comparing the stored information with a current position, and selectively outputs the stepped voice information about the sightseeing place.
