PURPOSE: A car navigation system and a facility guide method thereof are provided to offer guidance about the interior of facilities corresponding to the region where GPS(Global Positioning System) signal is not received. CONSTITUTION: A car navigation system comprises a GPS receiver(110) which receives location information, a storage(130) which stores a list of facilities and guide information, a controller(140) which display the stored facility information in the form of contraction or summary map when it is determined the car has entered the facility with reference to the received location information, and a display unit(150) which shows the facility information.
