PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack system capable of continuing control of battery modules, even in case a transmission line is partly broken or some of the battery modules get defective, by structuring the data transmission line among the modules in a loop shape. SOLUTION: In the first implementation mode, a plurality of communication I/Fs 8 are installed on protective boards 6 as in Fig.1. Especially, in the case of the battery pack system concerning the first implementation mode, the communication I/Fs 8 are set in double on each battery module 1 as shown in Fig.1, and at the same time, one of the transmission lines is connected from a battery module 1c of a low-potential side as seen from a control board 2, and the other transmission line is connected from a battery module 1a of a high-potential side as seen from the control board 2 through an insulation circuit 3.
