PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control stability of a magnet on a horizontal plane and position fixing of a vertical axis thereof. SOLUTION: A magnetic floatation device utilizes a repulsive force in a positional relation not of the facing direction of poles but of the lateral direction that is a side face direction. Thereby, the movement caused by being attracted each other can be controlled by a slight force. Since magnets have a gradient repulsive force by providing a structure in which an attracting force of an electromagnet attracts the magnets to a center, more force going toward the center is applied on the magnets by more being attracted by the electromagnet, so that the magnets stably stay toward the center in spite of the repulsing. Furthermore, since the repulsive force is applied symmetrically in a horizontal state, variation in the horizontal direction is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
