PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cases useful for diagnosing regarding an image display, an image display method and a program. SOLUTION: The image display includes: a display means; a storage means for making the position information and/or mammary gland density information of a lesion candidate detected from breast images correspond to the breast images and storing them; a candidate detection means for detecting the lesion candidate from the breast image of a diagnostic object and calculating the position information and/or mammary gland density information of the detected lesion candidate using the breast image (step S1); and a control means for acquiring the breast image corresponding to the position information and/or mammary gland density information similar to the calculated position information and/or mammary gland density information from the storage means (step S6) and displaying it at the display means (step S7).
