PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer device usable for various purposes and improved in work efficiency and functionality. SOLUTION: The heat transfer device comprises a heat exchange storage body 1 opened at the upper end and capable of storing almost the lower half side of a container 5 such as a physical and chemical container; a heat exchange jacket 2 provided outside the storage body and circulating a heat medium to heat and cool the storage body; and a vacuum jacket 3 provided outside the jacket to carry out the vacuum heat insulation of the outside of the jacket. The container is stored in the storage body, and heated and cooled. Centers of bottoms of the storage body and both the jackets have openings 4 penetrating the three jackets.
