PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing made of sintered metal having a high corrosion resistance and also excellent in the slidability and wear resistance. SOLUTION: The bearing of sintered metal includes an austenite series stainless steel structure and a manganese sulfide structure, and further includes a nickel structure, wherein the share to the whole of the nickel component contained in the nickel structure and austenite series stainless steel structure is adjusted to, for example between 13-35 wt.%, including the limits, while the share to the whole of the manganese sulfide structure is adjusted to, for example between 1.5-2.5 wt.%, including the limits.
