The method for producing a plastic tubular packaging comprises rolling a laminate (11), arranging edges (8, 9) of the laminate end-to-end, fixing the edges to each other by soldering, extruding a strand of plastic material in a melted state, and placing the extruded plastic material on an inner face of the packaging so as to cover a soldering region (10) defined between the edges. Energy required to carry out the soldering is generated from the strand of plastic material. The strand of plastic material is deposited consecutively at top and bottom of the soldering region.
