VARIABLE-SEPARATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE MAGNETIC TREATMENT OF FLUIDS

Variable-separation apparatus and method for the magnetic treatment of fluids improving the quality of fluids and gases, for example fuels, water, its discerning feature being the use of permanent magnets mounted in capsules (4) made of magnetic material, set into a flexible or semi-flexible shell (3) that can be bent snugly around the pipe. The magnets emit a positive or negative field (5/1) towards the inside of the pipe. Within one and the same shell, the capsules may contain magnets with different sizes, lengths and magnetic field strengths increasing in the direction in which the fluid flows. The apparatuses comprise magnets the polarities of which alternate radially and axially with respect to the pipe. The capsules have the particular feature of neutralizing outward magnetic fields, disturbing no electronics, and of amplifying the effect of the magnets towards the inside of the pipe. The effect of the magnets is also amplified by the use of one or more vibrators (2) placed on or near the shell.
