METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING OF AIRPORT AUTOMATION SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing an airport automation service are provided to automatize an airport service using an electronic passport based on an RFID technique. CONSTITUTION: Passport information attached or inserted to or into an electronic passport is read(310). The passport is authenticated(315). A security level about a passenger corresponding to the authenticated passport is read from the electronic tag or extracted using the passport information(340). Body information about the passenger is obtained from a sensor according to the security level(350). The obtained body information and identity information are used to check the identity of the passenger(355). Immigration examination ends only for the passenger who finishes checking the identity of the passenger(360).
