It is intended to search for the minimum activity expression units of insulin-like growth factor-I and find out medicinal uses thereof in the fields of ophthalmology and dermatology. Combined use of a peptide containing the amino acid sequence Ser-Ser-Ser-Arg and a peptide containing the amino acid sequence Phe-Gly-Leu-Met-NH, which are the minimum activity expression units of insulin-like growth factor-I, is efficacious in treating keratic injury and remarkably promotes wound healing in the skin.
