PURPOSE: A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by forming a reflective film and a pixel electrode at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor is formed on a substrate. A planarization layer(142) is formed on the thin film transistor. A trench(146) is formed on the planarization layer. A reflective film(150) is formed in the trench. A pixel electrode is formed on the reflective film. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the thin film transistor. An opening of a partition(160) exposes a part of the pixel electrode. An organic light emitting unit(170) is formed on the pixel electrode. A common electrode(180) is formed on the organic light emitting unit.
