PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring the performance of a fuel cell membrane are provided to self-inspect the membrane performance of a fuel cell by detecting OCV reduction speed for each unit cell and displaying the measurement result through a monitoring unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the performance of a fuel cell membrane comprises the steps of: supplying hydrogen and air to a fuel cell, and blocking only air supply; dropping the cell voltage by applying current to a fuel cell; releasing electic load for voltage drop and supplying air again to the fuel cell, and then blocking the hydrogen and air supply; measuring OCV early reduction speed according to cell voltage drop of a fuel cell; operating the first to third steps for a certain time and measuring OCV final reduction speed according to cell voltage drop of a fuel cell; and comparing the OCV early reduction speed with OCV final reduction speed and then determining the check whether or not. |
