OPERATING METHOD FOR WIRELESS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for operating a wireless distribution system in a wireless LAN system is provided to easily recover and maintain connection without a separate access point setup process even though connection with an opposing AP(Access Point) is disconnected. CONSTITUTION: ESSID(Extended Service Set Identifier) information and wireless LAN security information for interconnection are set in each access point(S31). One access point checks whether to store a BSSID(Basic Service Set Identifier) of an opposing AP(S32). If the BSSID is not stored, the BSSID of the opposing AP is stored(S34). The access point is connected to the opposing AP through a corresponding wireless LAN channel(S35).
