METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF SLEEVE FOR OPTIC COMMUNICATION CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a sleeve for an optical communication connector is provided to improve data transmitting rate by reducing an inserting loss while a ferrule is inserted to both sides of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A main material is manufactured by mixing a ceramic powder to a binder. A molding body of a cylindrical shape having an inner diameter and an outer diameter is manufactured by injecting the main material. The molding body is degreased, is sintered, and is processed. A slit(215) is formed into a longitudinal direction of the molding body. A process for processing the molding body includes a step for processing a length of the molding body as a fixed length, a step for processing the outer diameter of the molding body, and a step for processing the inner diameter of the molding body.
