POLYVINYL ACETAL RESIN

摘要

Disclosed is a polyvinyl acetal resin having high elastic modulus and excellent solubility in alcohol solvents, which forms an alcohol solution having high transparency. The polyvinyl acetal resin is obtained by acetalizing a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) which has 0.1-1.5 mol% of a 1,2-diol structure unit represented by the general formula (1) below and a saponification degree of not less than 95 mol%.
