PURPOSE: A system and a method for sharing user's contents in an internet protocol television by using a mobile terminal are provided to determine whether user contents are received using a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An origination information management unit(262) receives origination information including user contents from the first mobile terminal. A reception determining unit(264) transmits terminal information of the first mobile terminal and a title of the user contents to the second mobile terminal. The reception determining unit determines whether to store the user contents. A shared contents storage unit(265) stores the user contents so that the user contents are provided through a user terminal of the second mobile terminal user.
