PURPOSE: A brake pad manufacturing method using different materials is provided to manufacture a brake pad including a wear indicator through a single pressing process and to detect uneven wear easily by placing the wear indicator at multiple positions in the friction material. CONSTITUTION: A brake pad manufacturing method using different materials comprises an upper die(20), a back plate(10) which is formed inside the upper die, and a lower die(25). Mold powder for a wear indicator including metal component is put in the back plate. A friction material is made from different mold powder than the wear indicator. The mold powder for both the wear indicator and the friction material is press-formed by the lower die, using the same resin as binder.
