PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a wireless internet service in a wireless LAN environment are provided to enable an AP(Access Point) to assign priority to each region, thereby providing communication service quality based on location information. CONSTITUTION: An access point(100) divides the whole communication region into a plurality of partial regions. The access point assigns priority about each partial region. The access point calculates channel access costs according to each region. Wireless nodes(110a~110c) control transmission speed according to the channel access costs. The wireless nodes transmit the controlled transmission speed to the access point.
