PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for providing a network service in a mobile communication system are provided to select a network with superior performance to supply a network service, thereby providing a service with improved quality. CONSTITUTION: Two or more subscriber identification module cards support different networks. A network performance test unit(102) measures performance of a network server. A controller(100) selects a subscriber identification module card with superior performance using the measured performance of the network server.
