<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which fixing fittings such as a holddown are surely, simply fixed in a prescribed position of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The holddown is composed of a body part 4a, a soldering part 4b extended from the body part and bent, and a joining part 4c joining the body part and the soldering part. A press-fitting part 4a1 for press-fitting the holddown to a fixing-fittings insertion part 2c of the housing is installed in the body part. A projection part (a dowel) 4a2 for positioning the holddown in the second direction in the housing is installed in the body part. A first positioning part 2c1 and a second positioning part 2c2 are installed in the housing, a third positioning part 4a3 and a fourth positioning part 4a4 are installed in the body part of the holddown. The third and fourth positioning parts of the holddown are contacted with the first and second positioning parts of the housing respectively for positioning, and then the holddown is press-fitted to the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
