PURPOSE: A measuring system for an excrement collection vehicle is provided to prevent faulty measurement of collection amount by covering the level rod of the level gauge to protect the collecting hose. CONSTITUTION: A measuring system for an excrement collection vehicle comprises a collecting hose which is connected to a vacuum pump, an excrement storage tank(3) which stores the excrements collected through the collection hose by vacuum suction, a level gauge(4) which is installed on top of the excrement storage tank and fitted with a level rod(5) inserted in the excrement storage tank, and a protective pipe(6) which is installed inside the excrement storage tank to surround the level rod. The protective pipe has fine holes on the surface and the level rod generates output signals according to level changes. The measuring system also includes an inclination sensor for correcting a measurement error which may occur on a slope. |
