SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING HAND-OVER IN DIFFERENT MOBILITY PROTOCOL MIXING NETWORK, AND MOBILE IP CLIENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A handover processing method in heterogeneous mobility protocol mixing networks, and a system and an MIP(Mobile Internet Protocol) client apparatus are provided to use the seamless service of a PMIP network and a CMIP(Client Mobile IP) network in one UE. CONSTITUTION: A UE(User Equipment) transmits an MIH_MN_HO_Commit-REQ message to a GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node)(602). The GGSN transmits an MIH_MN_HO_Commit-RSP message to the UE(604). The UE performs wireless access and an authentication process for WiMAX(World Interoperability for Microwave Access) network access(605~610). The UE receives a RRP(Registration RePly) message from an HA(Home Agent)(612). The UE informs an MIIS(MIH(Media Independent Handover) Information Server) of the completion of handover(613~615). If the UE requests UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) link termination to the GGSN, the GGSN performs a PMIP(Proxy Mobile IP(Internet Protocol)) deregister procedure(616~618).
