PURPOSE: A low hardness silicone rubber composition is provided to lower elongation by adding dimethyl gum to a low hardness silicone rubber and to increase a polishing speed by reducing a compression set when polishing a roll. CONSTITUTION: A silicone rubber composition comprises 78.5~98.5 weight% low hardness silicone rubber of hardness(JIS-A) 35 or less, 0.5~1 weight% hardener, 0.5 weight% release agent, and 0.5~20 weight% vinylmethylsiloxane dimethyl siloxane copolymer that is dimethyl gum. A method for preparing the silicone rubber composition comprises the steps of: mixing 78.5~98.5 weight% low hardness silicone rubber of hardness(JIS-A) 35 or less and 0.5~20 weight% dimethyl gum with a molecular weight of 700,000~800,000 g/mol and then stirring the mixture at 30-45 °C for 10~20 minutes; and injecting 0.5~1 weight% hardener and 0.5 weight% releasing agent, and then stirring the mixture at 30-45 °C for 15-30 minutes.
