BLCD MOTOR CONTROLLER BASED ON MAXIMUM POWER ALGORITHM

PURPOSE: A BLDC(Brushless DC) motor controller is provided to increase the output of the BLDC motor by extending a conduction angle within the maximum conduction angle. CONSTITUTION: A rotation angle measurement unit(100) measures the rotation angle of a rotor of a BLDC motor. A rotation velocity comparator(200) outputs the velocity difference by comparing the real velocity of the rotor with the instruction velocity. A current controller(300) calculates the instruction current based on the velocity difference and generates a first PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal by modulating the instruction current. If the instruction current exceeds a rated current of the BLDC motor, the conduction angle extension unit(400) extends the conduction angle within the maximum conduction angle. The conduction angle extension unit generates a second PWM signal by modulating the rated current.
