PURPOSE: A method for indicating EPG information in DTV(Digital TV) is provided to allow a user to confirm the change of the EPG information by displaying change information on a screen in case EPG information of a favorite channel is changed while watching TV. CONSTITUTION: It determines whether EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information of a favorite channel among the received EPG is updated(S202). In case EPG information of the favorite channel is updated, the updated EPG information is displayed on a screen(S204). The updated EPG information is displayed as a subtitle on a lower screen or a pop-up window. A hot key or detail information checking key signal is inputted from the EGP information displayed on the screen. According to the detailed information confirmation key signal, the channel is changed or the detailed information is displayed on the screen. |
