PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for installing a photovoltaic module is provided to prevent temperature increase of a solar power generation module or a mounting member by forming at least one ventilation hole on the mounting member. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of assembly units are assembled to form a roof or the wall. An one-side of the mounting member(20) is contacted with the assembly unit. A solar power generation module is installed in the mounting member. A fastening unit(30) includes a bolt(31) and a holding bracket(32). The screw is movably inserted into a hole(23) of the mounting member. The holding bracket member is combined with the screw detachably. The holding bracket places one side of the mounting member on the assembly.
