WIRELESS POSITIONING APPARATUS FOR GOLF CAR AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A wireless positioning apparatus for a golf cart and an operating method thereof is provided to save the expense for constructing a golf field by having efficient communication with a club house using the low output wireless telecommunication. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(global positioning system) receiver(20) receives the location information from a GPS satellite. An RF transmitting/receiving module(30) transmits and receives a radio signal to one or more adjacent vehicle and an ad-hoc network mode. A position control module(50) creates vehicle location list to each adjacent vehicle by deciding distance with the corresponding vehicle. A memory(60) stores the vehicle monitoring list created in the position control module. A communication control module(40) transmits the identifying information at the fixed constant cycle through the RF transmitting/receiving module to each adjacent vehicle. The identifying information comprises the location information of the target vehicles and identification allocated to the target vehicles. The identifying information comprises the vehicle monitoring list.
