PURPOSE: A frost protection material and a road paving method using the same are provided to minimize the moisture migration and temperature difference between the sub base layer and roadbed of pavement and prevent the subsidence of pavement when the ambient temperature rises. CONSTITUTION: A frost protection material forms a frost protection layer of pavement which comprises a roadbed, a base layer, a sub base layer, the frost protection layer, and a surface layer. The frost protection material is mainly composed of soil mixed with air bubbles and cement, and includes waste tire powder.
