<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a plumb, regulating shifting of a plumb in the longitudinal direction of a unit short pipe, surely preventing deformation and breakage of the unit short pipe, and surely preventing the movement of a unit long pipe due to waves or the like. <P>SOLUTION: From the premise of a fixed structure for fixing the plumb 5 in a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of the unit short pipe laid at the bottom of the sea, a projecting part projected outward in the radial direction is integrally provided by fusion on the pipe periphery at the tip and the base end of the unit short pipes 40, 40 opposite to each other. The plumb is formed to be half-split, and the interior is provided with a recessed part 51 for clamping and holding the projecting part with a non-fused part of each unit short pipe when the plumb is closed. A projection 53 eating into the pipe peripheral surface of the non-fused part of the unit short pipe when the plumb is closed to thereby regulate the movement in the axial direction of a synthetic resin pipe is provided in the recessed part.
