<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which selects information necessary to a user out of many pieces of medical information and provides it to the user in a virtual patient system, in a medical information providing system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The virtual patient system is connected to a plurality of database 5 and 6 storing medical information through electric communication circuits 2 and 3. The system is provided with: an input 21 by which patient discrimination information, a role of a user, a using place, and the condition of a patient are input; a data collector 22 which collects from the plurality of database the medical information corresponding to the patient discrimination information, the role of the user, the using place, and the condition of the patient; and a display screen unit 29 which makes the collected medical information display.
