<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can, which can be opened easily even if it is filled with heated drinking water and is sold, has a heat insulating effect, and bring less trouble in manufacturing while maintaining the above structure. <P>SOLUTION: According to the can 10, a lower part 10a and an upper part 10b in the can axis direction are thick-walled parts, while an intermediate part 10c between the lower and upper parts 10a, 10b is a thin-walled part. A trunk 11 is provide with a groove part 22, on which a plurality of grooves 21, each continuous or divided into two or more in the can axis direction, are formed circumferentially at intervals.
