DRIVE APPARATUS AND TRACK JUMP METHOD

PURPOSE: A drive apparatus and a track jump method are provided to perform the access operation to a target address. CONSTITUTION: A dichroic mirror(7) examines light from a light source through an objective lens in a hologram-recording medium. A biaxial implement(11) displaces an optical spot formed with the dichroic mirror in the radial direction of the hologram-recording medium. A controller(25) controls the biaxial implement based on an optic information signal when the light spot which gets as the optical spot is displaced in the radial direction. The controller executes the jump operation between the address record tracks of the hologram-recording medium.
