PURPOSE: A coin collecting/packing device is provided to keep coins safely until processed coins are transferred for a package process. CONSTITUTION: A coin collecting/packing device comprises an upper hopper(2), a coin distinction unit(3), a provisional storage unit(4), and a cashbox unit. The upper hopper receives the coins to automatically pull out the kept coins. The coin distinction unit determines false coins and calculates the total amount of the coins. The provisional storage unit receives the coins adjudged as a real coin by the coin distinction unit. The cashbox unit receives the coins from the provisional storage unit and keeps the coins.
