PURPOSE: An outer thread gate valve for firefighting is provided to protect a reed switch and a sensor from damage by covering the reed switch. CONSTITUTION: An outer thread gate valve for firefighting comprises a yoke part, a valve rod(140), a steering wheel(120), a gate, a magnet, and a display part. The yoke part consists of a cylindrical lower body(113), a yoke(115) and an upper body(111). The valve rod is inserted in a through-hole formed on the upper and lower bodies of the yoke part. The steering wheel is mounted on top of the upper body and moves the valve rod up and down. The magnet is fixed inside the valve rod. The display part is fixed on the upper body.
