A METHOD FOR FREQUENCY REUSE IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING MACRO CELLS AND FEMTO CELL AND A SYSTEM THEREOF

<p>PURPOSE: A frequency reuse method in a communication system with macro cells and femto cells and a system thereof are provided to distinguish a macro base station and a femto base station through distinguishment information which can be detected through the first and second synchronization signals. CONSTITUTION: A femto base station(200) takes charge of a femto cell among femto cells. The femto base station broadcasts distinguishment information preset through the first and second synchronization signals. The femto base station reuses a cell identifier that a macro base station uses. A user terminal(300) extracts the reused cell identifier to access the femto base station.</p>
