PURPOSE: A multi-stage rolling mill with a brake device is provided to prevent a work failure by controlling the working position of the roller part. CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage rolling mill comprises a roller part which rolls a slab(24), a lifting part(10), a drive part(3) which transmits power to the lifting part, and a brake part(30) which is coupled with the drive part to control the power of the drive part. The roller part comprises a lower roller(28) which rolls the lower side of the slab, and an upper roller(26) which is located separate from the lower roller and rolls the upper side of the slab. The lifting part moves the upper roller.
