<p>A method of wireless communicating between a mobile device and a server is provided. The method includes transmitting messages, which may be stored in an STK, via a wireless communications network between the mobile device and the server using USSD1 as bearer. While these messages are being transmitted, a virtual session is maintained on the mobile device, and preferably also on the server, for the duration of the communication. Preferably the virtual session on the server is initiated and terminated upon receipt, from the mobile device, of initiation and termination messages respectively. The method may be implemented by executing instructions in the memory of the server and in the memory of an identification module.</p> |
