Pressing plate

The plate (1) has a pressing plate cutter (4) for impingement of the plate by an elastic element (5) e.g. membrane- or disk spring, or a force transmission element such as lever or hydraulic cylinder. The elastic element is arranged between a contact surface (2) and the cutter and compressed by a pressing force. The contact surface transmits the pressing force to a friction lining. The elastic element is arranged by pretensioning and compressed after obtaining the pressing force. The contact surface and the cutter exhibit limited relative movements in a force direction to each other.
