PURPOSE: A one-way viscous damper is provided to improve the dynamic stability of a motion system by stopping an abnormal motion rapidly when an excessive vibration occurs. CONSTITUTION: A one-way viscous damper comprises a device fixing plate(1) which is attached to a vibration-proof object to move together, a piston(2) with a rod(21) and a piston plate(22) which is attached to the center of the device fixing plate, a check valve(3) which is formed under the piston, a body(4) including a cylinder(42) which is filled with a working fluid and accommodates the piston, an orifice(5) which is installed on a flow path, and a return spring(6) which is fitted to the piston rod and pushes the device fixing plate and the piston.
