<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily put a container in and out of a cooking chamber and to heighten the operability of stirring food in the container and adding seasonings in the midway of cooking in a heating cooker. <P>SOLUTION: When a cooker performs a predetermined key opening operation with a vertically opening type door 4 fully opened, a slider 52 of a tray carrying mechanism 5 disposed under the rear of the cooking chamber 3, and an abutting piece 53 provided at the front end pushes the rear end of the tray 7 to slide the tray 7 forward. When the slider passes the maximum travel position, the slider 52 moves backward so that the tray 7 stays in the position with the front pushed out from the bottom part 3b of the cooking chamber 3.
