Composite component made of at least two sub-components and one of these joining components and method of producing the same

The composite component (10) has two sub-components (12, 14) including an upper shell and a lower shell connected with each other in form-fit manner by joining components (18) such that each sub-component stays in form-fit connection with the joining components. The sub-components and the joining components are made of thermally solidifiable materials i.e. thermoplastic material. The material of the joining components includes a high glazing temperature than each sub-component. The joining components completely fill a region (28) between a joining wall section (24) and a limiting wall (26). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a composite component.
