PURPOSE: A roller for a belt conveyor is provided to use for long time by absorbing impact load generated by the load of products which is being transferred and the transfer of the products. CONSTITUTION: A roller for a belt conveyor comprises a pair of support shafts(100), a bush(300), a housing(400), a base member(500), and a fixing member(600). A pair of support shafts comprises a fixing projection(110) formed at both circumference surfaces. A connection unit is installed on a pair of support shafts. The bush is fixed on the circumference of the supporting shaft and has one or more bearings. The housing is inserted into the bush and the circumference of the bush and rotates. The base member is fixed on the circumference of the housing. The fixing member is fixed on a holding projection(510) of the base member.
