<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves forming a honeycomb core by edge-to-edge assembly of a set of honeycomb core blocks (B1, B2). Pocket recesses (A1, A2) are opened before the edge-to-edge assembly of the set of honeycomb core blocks, where the pocket recesses are located on edges of the set of honeycomb core blocks to be attached. The set of honeycomb core blocks is attached in an edge-to-edge manner, and is dried so that the open pocket recesses are imbricated with each other. The imbrication of the open pocket recesses is maintained by fixation components such as couplers. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for an element surrounded by an engine nacelle of an aircraft. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for manufacturing a monolayer or bi-layer acoustic absorption panel for an engine i.e. jet engine, nacelle (claimed) of an aircraft. Can also be used for manufacturing a multilayer panel. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The set of honeycomb core blocks is attached in the edge-to-edge manner and dried so that the open pocket recesses are imbricated with each other without utilizing adhesive, thus obtaining the acoustic absorption panel whose pocket recesses reduces the noise emitted by the engine of the aircraft in an effective and simple manner, and reducing the barriers of acoustic impedance in the panel. The method allows the panel to obtain mechanical resistance, and increases the specific acoustic absorption surface of the panel.
