The device has a set of reflecting surfaces e.g. mirrors (2'), provided in a vision field of an operator, and a set of peripheral mirrors (2'') arranged around parts of a body located outside the operator's vision field. Each reflecting surface is oriented so as to send back an image of the body part via the corresponding peripheral mirrors. An armature (1) comprises curve rods (3) arranged around a central vertical axis, where each rod is made of a deformable element with a residual deformation that allows a user to adjust an axis of the mirrors.
