The system has a fixation site i.e. groove, extended transversally in a bottom of a parallelepiped hollow housing (26) of a fairing (18). The fairing has an upper face (28) provided with a movable bonnet (56) i.e. plate, that is movable between an open position in which an end of an air intake pipe (30) is positioned in the housing, and a closed position. The bonnet closes an upper opening of the housing to maintain in position, the pipe in the housing, in the closed position. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an air intake pipe of an internal combustion engine on a fan fairing of a ventilation device.
