The casement has an internal skin (21) i.e. door liner, and an external skin which are fixed with respect to each other, and defining a space between them. A glass (23) slides in the space between an upper closing position, in which a window of a vehicle is closed, and a lower opening position, in which the window is opened. A stop is placed in the space and cooperated with a part of a lower edge (23b) of the glass, when the glass is in the lower opening position. The stop includes a mold made of plastic material. The stop is fixed on a reinforcement (24).
