POWER TRAIN FOR A HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE WITH AUTOMATED MANUAL TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A power train of a hybrid electric vehicle equipped with an automated mutual transmission is provided to prevent the break of power in shifting and to execute the shifts to an electronic continuously variable transmission mode and an automated mutual transmission. CONSTITUTION: A power train of a hybrid electric vehicle equipped with an automated mutual transmission is composed of a first input shaft(12), a planetary gear set(PG) a second input shaft(16), an output shaft(20), a first motor/generator(MG1), and an automated mutual transmission. The first input shaft is connected to an engine through a first clutch(C-1). Plural driving gears(14) are formed in the input shaft. The planetary gear set comprises a ring gear(R). The output shaft is connected to the second input shaft. The output shaft comprises a driven gear(18). The first motor/generator drives a sun gear(S) of the planetary gear set. The automated mutual transmission comprises a second motor/generator(MG2).
